Child Safety

The City of Canada Bay is a Child Safe Community that recognises and advocates for the rights of children and young people. We aim to reduce the likelihood of harm to children, to increase the likelihood of identifying and reporting harm and respond appropriately to disclosures, allegations or suspicions of harm. 

I can provide a Child Safety Plan for my bookings if requested by Concord Oval Recreation staff.

All coaches on site will be required to have a WWCC and able to provide these on request.

Declaration

  • In the event of a scheduling conflict arising from a booking request for a particular service, such as a sport court, date, or time, with another applicant, staff will conduct a thorough review of both applications using an internal assessment tool, to ensure a fair and equitable final decision is reached.

  • Court space allocation offers will be communicated using the above provided contact information by October 2023.

  • On acceptance of the court space allocation offer, staff will send through a 2024 booking agreement. Court space bookings are not confirmed until a signed booking agreement has been returned.
