HOARDING PERMIT APPLICATION FORM


Important information:

Council permission is required when a hoarding, barricade or scaffolding is erected on Council's footpath.Permission is also required to use Council’s footpaths during construction for materials, temporary buildings and the like. The application will be assessed under Section 138 of the Roads Act 1993 & Section 68 of the Local Government Act 1993.

This application requires 10 working days for processing, unless the urgency fee is paid for a 3 working day turnaround.

Type of hoarding required

Fees and charges (Based on application type):

Type A Hoarding Permit (safety fencing and full face scaffold). If adequate pedestrian access cannot be maintained a Type B hoarding is required.

Type B Hoarding Permit (where the hoarding is built over the footpath) Required for the building / demolition of all structures greater than 7.5m

Urgency Fee (Completed within 3 working days)

* The above fees are to be paid on lodgement and are GST exempt
