Use this application form to apply for a Residents Parking Permit only. 

For Visitor, Parks, Business and Replacement Permits, please visit our website or contact our customer service team on 9911 6555.

Note: Trucks, buses, trams, tractors, caravans, box trailers, horse floats, boat trailers or any other vehicle over 4.5 tonne GVM are not eligible for the issue of a parking permit.

Residents ONLY 

  • Residents can apply for up to three (3) residential permits (subject to eligibility criteria).

  • Please refer to street listings document to check if your address is eligible. Alternatively, please contact Council via 9911 6555 for any further enquiries.

Fees are in accordance with Council’s Annual Fees & Charges (On-street Parking Permit section)

On Street resident permit (permit for 2nd car) Free

On Street resident permit (permit for 3rd car) Refer to fees and charge document noted above.

On Street resident permit (permit for 3rd car) Not Eligible

Permit Parking (for residence with 2 eligible onsite parking spaces)

On-Street resident permit (permit for 1st car) Free

Permit Parking (for residence with 3 eligible onsite parking spaces) Not Eligible

Note: Resident pensioners receive 50% reduction for all the above fees

The applicant is required to present the following documents to establish residential status, and ownership of the vehicle(s) in the applicant’s name as stated on the application form:

  • For a new application you will need to provide any two of the following documents

  • For a renewal application you will need to provide any one of the following documents

  • For every permit application, all current vehicle registration paper(s) are also required

Method of Delivery

By choosing this option, you do not hold Council responsible if the permit is lost in delivery. If permits are lost in delivery, a replacement application must be made.
