When to Apply
Applications
must be lodged at least 14 days before your works are due to start to allow time for processing.
You can apply
up to 1 month in advance.
Permits are valid for
up to 7 days.
Fees
The fee for this application is listed in
Council’s Fees & Charges.
Approval Process
Applications are
not automatically approved.
Allow
up to 14 business days for assessment and processing (longer for complex matters). Please factor this into your project timeline.
After assessment Council will arrange a site meeting to confirm the area and costs.
Once costs are confirmed and paid,
written consent will be issued
If your application is refused, we’ll notify you by email.
Working on a State or Regional Road?
You’ll need a Road Occupancy Licence (ROL) from Transport for NSW (TfNSW). Attach this when applying.
