The fee for this application is as per the 'Tree Management' section of Council's Fees and Charges.

Review Process

On processing your appeal application, an Officer from the Parks and Recreation Department (not previously involved with your original application) will inspect the subject tree/s and review all information associated with this matter. The outcome of this inspection will be issued in writing within 2 weeks of the lodgement date. If you are still unhappy with the outcome, you may appeal to the Land & Environment Court.

Consent of ALL Tree Owner(s)

The written consent of ALL owners MUST be provided. 

Where the inspecting Tree Officer deems that the ownership of the tree is not clearly visible i.e. on boundary line between two neighbours, the inspection officer will request the signature of the adjacent property owner or a covering letter granting permission for the tree to be accessed. A copy of the permit will be sent to the adjacent property owner.

Important: Permits and official documents are only issued to the owners of the tree. The property owner can nominate the Applicant as an additional recipient of this information by providing signed, written consent.
